Browser-based HLS M3U8 and MP4 Player
This online video player supports direct HLS M3U8 live streams, standard MP4 video files and SLDP low-latency WebSocket streams. Enter a publicly accessible video URL and play it using an HTML5-compatible web browser.
Adaptive bitrate HLS streams are detected automatically. Available resolutions can be selected manually or left in automatic mode. The HLS monitor displays segment duration, playlist sequence numbers and buffered playback time.
Supported player features
- HLS M3U8 live playback
- MP4 video playback
- SLDP low-latency playback
- RTMP URL validation

- Buffer duration monitoring
RTMP browser compatibility
Modern browsers do not include a native RTMP decoder. RTMP URLs are accepted and recorded without conversion, but direct browser playback requires an RTMP-capable desktop application. HLS and SLDP URLs are played directly by their respective web players.
HLS playback requirements
The remote streaming server or CDN must permit cross-origin browser access. Playlist and segment responses need suitable CORS headers for this player domain.
